PROFESSIONAL A Certified Public Accountant, Linda Fraley’s background encompasses more than thirty years experience in accounting and business management. She is in her third consecutive term as Clermont County Auditor, first elected in November, 1994. As Auditor, Fraley has been in the forefront in modernizing county government services and in providing a state-of-art public information website. In July, 2005, the Auditor of State presented Linda, for the third consecutive year, the Auditor’s Award for her commitment to safeguarding taxpayer dollars. Fewer than five percent of all agencies audited are eligible for this award. In addition, the Auditor’s Office has continued to receive a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting annually, since Linda has been in office.
EDUCATION A graduate of Glen Este High School, Linda Fraley earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati, majoring in Accounting. She keeps up-to-date on current governmental, business and accounting trends through continuing education and memberships in professional organizations, including The Ohio Society of CPAs and the International Association of Assessing Officers, the Government Finance Officers Association and the Ohio Weights and Measures Association.
CIVIC Linda Fraley’s civic service has included many boards and committees, including the Clermont 20/20 Board, Batavia Rotary, United Way, the Clermont County Planning Commission, Clermont County Board of Elections, Private Industry Council and the Community Chest Board of Directors. She was also elected to three four-year terms on the Clermont County Board of Education, where she served four years as President. In addition, Linda has been a long-time member of the Clermont and Milford-Miami Township Area Chambers of Commerce.
POLITICAL Linda Fraley holds memberships in the Clermont County Republican Party, of which she is past Treasurer, and the Clermont County Republican Club. She serves on the Republican Party’s Executive Central Committee representing Batavia Township. Linda has actively participated in many campaigns from statewide to the county and local levels.
PERSONAL Linda and her husband, Jim Bushman, reside in Batavia Township and are both life-long residents of Clermont County. Their family includes four children and eight (and a half) grandchildren. Linda is an avid golfer and NASCAR enthusiast.
